Frank Juval Quiñones

I’m a designer/illustrator with 15 years of design expertise and almost a lifetime of experience as an illustrator. I have 15 years of experience using the Mac OS, Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark. Seven years experience with InDesign. Ten years experience with Dreamweaver and Fireworks. I can take projects from initial concepts and ideas to final product, be it print or web.

Experience means I’m versed in the typical day-to-day responsibilities of a designer. That includes years of experience in conceptualizing, working with color, composition, typography, preparing files for print, hand coding HTML/CSS, and so on. Of course knowing software is great, but the most important thing a designer does is communicate ideas visually.

Print responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain and/or improve corporate brands, design logos, posters, promotional collateral, brochures, postcards, product design, stylization, color correction and photo retouching, P.O.P., labels, in-store signage, advertisements, photography art direction, scanning, presentation collateral, pad prints, typesetting, text book production, editorial illustrations, spot illustrations, greeting cards, T-shirt graphics, CD covers, newsletters, vehicle graphics, character design/development, storyboards, approves and corrects vendor proofs, handles file transfers between Mac and PC, archives work accordingly and is able to communicate and defend design ideas.

Web responsibilities include but are not limited to: email marketing (hand coded using both proprietary web app and Dreamweaver), web graphics (static and animated), build Flash banners and upload/download to FTP.

Experience working with senior level executives.

Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
