I recently updated an old illustration and posted a before and after to compare the old illo against the new updated version. Although the updated illo was still a work in progress.
Since then I’ve finished the updated version. I like how it turned out. It’s much cleaner with bolder colors, but kept its slimplicity. I could’ve easily gone crazy adding all sorts of colors, and elements, but why? Just because? The whole point of the original was to do something simple. Although I may add some subtle shading here and there in a future version, but that may be it.
In this version I left out the shading, since I wanted more of a line drawing feel.
