I was looking through my high school yearbook recently and doing a little reminiscing. I came across a picture that I liked and thought “hey, why not draw it” so I did. Then I had the idea of practicing portraiture by using the pictures from my yearbook as reference. Good idea! At least I think.
So this is my first portrait sketch. Maybe eventually I’ll get into digital painting, but for now I’m going to just sketch these out.
Below is a girl that was an acquaintance of mine during high school. Never really new her. We didn’t speak much. But she seemed cool.
