8 Things to Stop Doing Right Now

This is a great post. Here’s one I definitely agree with. It’s part of my philosophy.

1. Holding On to a False Identity (Thanks Ivan) – You are not the car you drive, you are not your job and you are certainly not the size of your bank balance. A lot of people have a picture of themselves through the eyes of their possessions and achievements, rather than what is.

You aren’t less of a person than anyone else and you aren’t of more value than anybody else either; you just are. Everyone is unique in their own way and the only mindset you need to have is this: “I am enough”.

I really believe nobody is above anybody. Especially at work. A lot of people—especially “top” management at companies—think they’re above everyone else. Guess what? They’re not. They put their pants on just like everyone else. They make mistakes just like everyone else. They have faults just like everyone.

I believe in respect. If a person does not show respect, they can not expect it in return.
